THE LION KING: WORLD PREMIERE
‘The Lion King’ red carpet premiere took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on July 9, 2019. Stars came out to celebrate the live-action remake of the classic Disney animated film first released 25 years ago.
I'm no style expert but if I were asked to judge...I'd say the GEN-Z kids win the award for best red-carpet fashion at the premiere. Some highlights were Yara Shahidi(Grownish), Marsai Martin(Blackish), Ruth Righi(Sydney to the Max), Navia Robinson(Raven's Home) and the film's young Nala, Shahadi Wright Joseph
Donald Glover portrays the main role of Simba while Beyonce is Nala. Seth Rogan plays the role of Pumbaa and Billy Eichner plays Timon. James Earl Jones reprises his role as Simba's father, Mufasa.
I must admit I haven't been this excited about a premiere in a long time! Nostalgia at it's finest.
If you're as anxious as I am, don't worry...You won't have to wait too much longer. "THE LION KING" hits theaters nationwide July 18th!
