This series is star studded with guests including Oprah Winfrey, Issa Rae, Chloe Bailey, Chika, congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Marsai Martin and an array of beautiful strong and powerful women with every hair type imaginable.
The series was so inspiring I decided to take a look back at my own hair journey. One thing I'm so blessed to have is a mother who taught me to appreciate my curls and refused to allow me to wear a relaxer even though I begged and begged. She saved me from a lot of trauma and for that I'm grateful.
Take a look at some of my favorite looks throughout the years. From curls to silk presses long to short braids and even a wig or two. I just love the versatility of hair!
