Netflix features #BLACKFAMILYMAGIC in New Series

You are definitely going to want to (as I always say) grab your popcorn and stay a while on July 10. Why? Because Netflix has been cooking up a comedic series starring Tia Mowry- Hardrict, Loretta Devine and Richard Roundtree called FAMILY REUNION and it is sure to be a good time for everyone!

Created and executive produced by Meg DeLoatch (‘Fuller House’, ‘Eve’), and directed by Eric Dean Seaton (‘Modern Family‘), this Netflix Original focuses on the family dynamic of African Americans in the south and honestly, throughout the nation.

One family’s idea of vacation goes for a toss when they decide to leave their happening city life in Seattle and embrace the colorful culture of Columbus Georgia. Mowry-Hardrict stars as Cocoa McKellan, a free spirited wife and mother. Cocoa, her husband and four children seek the comforts of the countryside and more time with family. The move to Georgia includes a new life with matriarch M’Dear(Devine) and Grandpa McKellan.(Roundtree). Sounds lovely right? Well, with the new experiences, southern culture, all day church services and the hot, humid summers, the McKellans face new challenges that are made in to laugh out loud scenes.
